I'm Jess, a mom of two and a Pregnancy and Postpartum Fitness Coach with a deep understanding of the unique fitness journey pregnant and postpartum women face. My own experiences as a CrossFit athlete through two pregnancies profoundly shaped my approach. After my first child, I struggled with low back pain and pelvic floor pressure, realizing that getting back to my usual workouts just didn't feel right. This fueled my dedication to learning everything I could about pregnancy and postpartum fitness. Applying this knowledge to myself transformed my second pregnancy and recovery, making both significantly easier and more comfortable.
Now, my mission is to share that knowledge with you. My comprehensive background, which includes a Master of Science (MS) degree and extensive experience as a Licensed and Certified Athletic Trainer (LAT, ATC), provides me with a deep understanding of the body, movement, and injury prevention. This foundational knowledge, combined with my certifications as a Certified Personal Trainer, Corrective Exercise Specialist (through NASM), and specialized training as a Pregnancy and Postpartum Corrective Exercise Specialist (certified by Physical Therapist Sarah Duvall with Core Exercise Solutions), directly informs my coaching approach. As your coach, I focus on empowering you to safely build a strong foundation, navigate your workouts during pregnancy, and recover effectively postpartum, so you can return to your normal activities without pain or dysfunction.
